Nanos/CTV November 2022 poll showing 69% of Canadians support mask mandates if necessary.

The Forum poll, November 2022, found that 53% of Ontarians agree that Ontario should bring back its mask mandate, and 72% would follow a renewed provincial mask mandate.

An Angus Reid poll, December 2022, found that 52% of Canadians think that the chief medical officer should reintroduce a mask mandate if cases continue to rise. This idea was supported by 63% of Canadians who reported their current mask wearing as ‘less than half the time’ and 23% of Canadians who ‘never’ currently wear a mask in public spaces.
